First was Grandpa and Grandma's visit - you read the Locomotion Commotion post and know that they had a good time playing at the gym. Our home also became a gym as Gavin had a good time showing off his bike riding skills with the help of Grandma and Grandpa cruising him through the house! Grandpa "gished" up his bike by duct taping pedal extenders to his tricycle, but even with the lift, he's still a tad too short to reach the pedals. That didn't phase him though as he preferred to be pushed anyway.

Then Aunt Jennifer came to visit armed with Springtime Oreos for Gavin and furniture for me! In preparation for the baby, she has been clearing out rooms and I was the lucky recipient of the new sofa table (hidden behind the couch) and new TV stand for the guest room. Jennifer and I did some power shopping while Gavin slept and we all went to watch Gavin play on swingsets at the swingset store (we were pretending to be in the market) as it wasn't the nicest of days. We had a good visit and Gavin enjoyed showing off for Aunt Jennifer and even painted a picture for the new baby's nursery!
One of Gavin's favorite new hobbies is using the tape measure to check the length of things - couch, chair, Mommy's leg, Riley's tail - you name it, he likes to measure it! He also has put the Bob the Builder tool set to good use lately - it might be hard to see on the yellow pajamas - but he's intently trying to get the tools in the right places. .jpg)

If I wasn't so tired right now, I'd post more about our trip to Memphis to visit Kim and her kids, but I'll save it for next time.

Love that "gished" it up lives on!!!
