What fabulous weather we have had this week! It's been 25 degrees above normal and while it is very fun to be in such warm weather, it makes clothing choices a bit rough. I realized that I don't have any shorts for Gavin so I've had to do some quick shopping just to make sure he has a few things to wear! Can you believe I am buying 3T's for this kid? He's just so tall that all his 2T's seem to be floods. Anyway, we have been busy, busy, busy and the weekend is not over yet. We TRIED to go to the zoo, but seeing as we couldn't even get our car within sight of the place, we opted for the Boathouse in Forest Park for lunch and a trip around the pond in the pedal boats (and Jon and I actually made it the full hour without collapsing!). We went to see the freakishly large Easter Bunny and went to a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt at our church. Tomorrow is church, coloring eggs and dinner with Nana, Papa and Aunt Kristin. Whew, I'm tired already!
First, though, is the Easter egg hunt with my investment club crew - aren't the kiddies just too cute! They're all waiting to get the show on the road at this point!

We so seldom get pictures of the 3 of us, we tried a self portrait on the boat!
I don't know if the sun is constantly in his eyes, or if he just always likes to squint at camera's!
Running wild and free as Jon tries to keep up.
I think all the running and boating wiped him out!
At the Egg Hunt, after he collected his 10 eggs
Hmmm, now where can those eggs be hiding???
They let ages 2 and under go first....probably so they wouldn't get trampled by the hungry mob waiting behind the crime scene tape!
Since I don't have a panoramic camera, this is only half of the panorama...
Hunting eggs makes Gavin a parched boy!
If only I had known the freakishly large bunny would give Gavin the willies, I would have dressed a little more easter-ish to complement the bunny's royal blue vest!
