Since I can't seem to get my act together to keep this updated, I thought I would post our pictures from Memorial Day (my friend Kim and her kids Luke, Emma and Elise came to visit) and 4th of July (we went to Wisconsin to spend time with Jennifer and family and my Mom and Dad). Seems like a lifetime ago now. As Jennifer always says, once 4th of July goes, summer is pretty much gone. Too true. Also, an update - I accepted a new position with my company back in January for a new product for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. My fancy new title is Specialty Sales Rep as this product is an IV infusion and I only call on Gastroenterologists. I also have the state of Missouri as my territory now. Thus my comment in the last post about my new job keeping me busy. I am VERY busy (the drug was just approved on May 20th) but in a good way. It is very fun and I am learning a lot and I get to talk to doctors, infusion nurses, pharmacists, billing people, etc. so it's not the same day twice… EVER! It's challenging and frustrating and difficult but not boring. It will slow down but even if I look at my calendar and think I don't have much to do today, a phone call comes in and it all changes in a flash!
So anyway, our summer has been good, busy and we only made it to the pool 3 times (and 2 of those times were just last week)! But we are all off on vacation this week - heading up to Michigan to vacation and end up with a visit with Grandpa and Grandma. Taking the family up the west coast and then to Mackinac Island - can't wait to get my hands on some fudge! I'll try to send those pictures before New Year's! Have a happy labor day!
