Happy Birthday Harper!

Well officially she's 13 months old today but let's pretend her birthday was only a week ago and I'm not late in posting again....What a fun birthday we had for our dear little Harper!  It ended up being a cupcake theme - sort of by default.  I had my friend Tammy embroider a cupcake on her shirt and knew I was going to make the giant cupcakes, the rest fell into place and it turned out very cute with 1st birthday cupcake invites, plates and thank you notes.  She had a great time eating cake and playing with her presents (she got some cute GIRL toys).  She started walking about a week before her birthday and hasn't slowed down since.  She's getting really good at signing - she can sign eat, more, dog, shoes, all done, fish - and she has one sign that is either thank you, cereal or water - we haven't figured it out yet.  She jabbers like she knows what she's saying - we just can't figure it that out yet either.  Gavin makes her laugh with all his antics and she loves to imitate him.  It's only annoying when they have a screaming contest in the middle of dinner - Gavin won't stop because he thinks it's funny and Harper won't stop because...well because she's a one year old.  Can't believe she's already one - what a crazy fast year this has been!

 It was mother's day - I took a picture with my sister and my Mom and yet somehow never got one with my kids.

We just got back from our vacation to Florida too, so hopefully I'll get those posted soon!
