Harper and Gavin's first week together at home

Well, it's been a whirlwind week at home! Thank God my parents have been here as I am not sure how we would have all eaten or bathed or anything! They leave Friday morning and I am already starting to have panic attacks! I know it will get easier, and that a million people do it, but wow, is it going to be HARD! Gavin got sick today and I took him to the doctor (just a virus) but he has a high fever, is super clingy and just doesn't feel well. I know today would have been rough if I had to take Harper with us to the doctor or didn't have my Mom to hold either Harper or Gavin when I needed to be with the other one.
Ok, so now to some of the good stuff. Harper only had to lay on the bili bed for 2 days, unfortunately she had her heel pricked 7 times in 3 days trying to get enough blood to test her bilirubin level. On Thursday, she was eating better, having enough wet diapers and her levels had dropped to 11.2 so her doctor said to discontinue the light therapy at 8pm. She seems to be doing well and sleeps and eats on no apparent schedule but her own! I do get 3-4 hour stretches of sleep most nights, so that helps.
Gavin is well entertained and has an outing buddy in Grandpa - they have been to a car museum, the transportation museum and a Meet the Machines event at a local quarry. Neither Dad or Gavin could ask for a better buddy to look, drool and play with machines with (and Starbucks has been having a good week satisfying their coffee/juice/cookie fixes on each of their outings)!
Gavin had his last day of preschool and I got to pick him up on his last day - I think he enjoyed his year but he said the popsicle he got on his last day was his favorite thing. He's not hard to please, I guess!
We had Jon's family over for dinner last weekend as Allie Grace was in town for a field hockey tourney so they all got to meet Harper for the first time. They all think she's pretty cute and special (especially since on Tami's side of the family, Allie is the only girl cousin).
Ok, so here's the pictures (pace yourself as I can't help but wonder when my next opportunity to post pictures will be!)
Hope you all are well and thanks for all the kind thoughts, prayers, calls, gifts and cards you have sent for Harper, Gavin and Jon and me!

Here is a one week picture of Harper.

And a close up!

Allie Grace, Harper and Gavin!

Gavin getting ready to ride up in the crane at Meet the Machines (he told me that he saw the top of the building when I asked him how high he went up!)

What's better than a big pile of sand, a boy and a bulldozer toy?

Getting to drive around the obstacle course.

The nursery is the same but I wanted to change the furniture around a bit to make it different for Harper. Mom, being the interior decorator she is, took that challenge to heart and changed it for Harper's homecoming! Jon has added a pink touch here and there, so I guess one day it will be a pink/green/white little girls room!
