Happy 4th of July!

I've tried to post many videos of Gavin on his tractor, but I guess they're too big and they won't download. Once his tractor arrived in St. Louis, it seemed to remove all the fun from riding - we would beg him to drive it and he wouldn't. Uh oh. So today we were over Nana and Papa's and Allie Grace had brought her scooter that goes about 15 miles per hour....Gavin was thrilled! He begged to ride it and would try to keep up on his little tractor, but it just put put puttered along. SO, we removed the screw that prohibited his little tractor from going into 2nd gear and let him see how he liked going faster. Well, I don't think we'll have a problem getting him to ride the tractor anymore, the problem will now be how in shape I am to jog along side while he's driving! You should have seen his grin when he realized how fast he could go. It amazes Jon and I how deftly he turns and stops - he is only 2 1/2 after all. We talked about how we both have a bit of a speed gene in us and it's obvious Gavin has inherited the gene! He actually turned down cupcakes to go outside to ride his tractor. I was able to record a quick minute of his trip, but make sure to watch his Bill Elliot (since he drove a Ford) move when he spins out on the blacktop. I'll post more later, I know I am way behind, but I am tired as I just got back from a week of training in Dallas! Hope you had a fun 4th of July!
