I know I am posting this, oh, 10 days late, but I do have an excuse. I was in a meeting all last week and this past weekend was BEAUTIFUL and the last thing I wanted to do was stay inside uploading pictures. Can you blame me? So, back to Halloween. We crammed a bunch into the 31st of October due to the monsoon that we lived in for the entire month. I really don't remember moving to Seattle, but it seemed like we lived there this past month (no offense Sunny!). So, of course we didn't have any pumpkins from the pumpkin patch due to the rain. Therefore, we headed to get pumpkins in the mud and muck on Halloween morning. Gavin had a blast moving the pumpkins, running through the mud, climbing the hay and riding the "train" (tubs pulled behind a 4-wheeler). Later that night we went trick-or-treating and that was, well let's face it, it was exhausting! Gavin was great about ringing doorbells and saying trick or treat, but when it came to putting the candy in the bucket, that was when the meltdowns began! Gavin wanted to put every piece of candy into his mouth, not the bucket and when I refused to let him, he proceeded to throw himself on the ground and scream. Now keep in mind that we have about 15 houses on our street, I was thoroughly drenched by the time we made it back to our house! He looked cute though, so we can forgive the crabbiness! The night before Jon and I went to a costume party at our new neighbors house and I guess we were convincing as a few people asked us what we rode! Imagine their disappointment when I said "minivan"!
Here's the pictures from the day.

Never one to think small - Gavin decides he wants THAT pumpkin

Looking for the fire

M-i-c (see you real soon), k-e-y (Why? Because we like you) M-o-u-s-e!

Pumpkins also make great scoops for piles of leaves

Rockin some serious hair!

Ha ha ha!! I laughed at loud at that last picture. I will have to show Andy, maybe it will jog his memory that he was, indeed, alive during the 1980s. ;)
